Thanks for your comment! There's a lot in there for community development and most of it has to do with grassroots efforts and partnering with groups and organizations in the Cobb area in order to get the word out about the CSO.

Great point about classical music struggling, too, and we included some ideas to address that concern as well. Items such as planning and holding some 'crossover' events, which mix classical with other types of music, in order to introduce to it those who might not normally attend just a classical event.

Very cool Ellen! I really thought about taking that class as well. I have a bit of a personal interest since I know and have played with a number of the Cobb SO members and have had Michael Alexander as conductor (wonderful). I'm very curious what your plan is for community development. Also, since classical music is struggling in the US, how do you think they can make it more mainstream (such as Italy...).
