So, we're very close to my favorite time of the year... football season. Georgia football is one of my favorite things on earth. Sanford Stadium is one of my favorite places on earth. The energy is something that is indescribable to anyone who has never experienced it. And if you haven't, there's only one thing I can say -- What the hell is wrong with you?
Only kidding, of course. I don't pretend to think that my team is the ONLY team to watch and love.
My beloved Georgia Bulldogs are ranked #1 in the USA Today Preseason Poll for the first time since folks my age have seen. But, there's a lot of football to play and being that we play in the SEC (arguably the toughest conference in the NCAA), we'll have to see how it goes.
I'll be sitting (well, standing... and probably yelling most of the time) with my other Dawgs fans as we watch what we hope to be the greatest season to date. I'll see you in red and black at games, tailgates, sports bars, and my house (with the giant 8-foot Hairy Dawg!).
